Thanks for everyone who attended our session at JavaOne 2009.
Anyone who was there knows we promised to post our slides and demo source code. So here you go:
- LimeWire: Swing for the Masses.pdf
- Guice-Demo.zip
- GlazedLists-Demo.zip
- JXLayer-Demo.zip
- Painting-Demo.zip
If you’d like to see slides from other talks, all of the slides from JavaOne can be found here.
LimeWire is also open source. So if you would like to see more complex examples of everything done in the demos, be sure to checkout our cvs.

using the new ubuntu and limewire is complicated..have it running on three hard-
drives for different people..first you need a program in add or remove..called: DC++ installed..first time you restart after the install of limewire you must repeatedly press Esc until the boot loader opens..select option line 2 go through entire process .. at the end of the terminal displays an end users agreement for Java you must accept it..after this i had to re- download limewire and it installed just perfectly…pain .. yes i know works better than windows xp though..
